Now it's certainly true that we feature less 'electro pop' genre tracks, which probably comes down to simple music preference, so I'd like to think that when do feature something in this style, it is a little bit special. 'TÜ' are a duo from Norway, and they are definitely a little bit special.
So 'TÜ' are comprised of 'Erle Romundstad Mylius' and 'Oddbjørn Sponås' (although I believe they are joined by other musicians live) and they've just released their debut track entitled 'Underwater' last Friday. The attraction of this song to me is firstly the minimalist style of this, subtle beats throw all the attention on to the vocals, which are just outstanding - just in the quality of the voice and the clever production, which changes their emphasis and texture across the track. Meanwhile the melody is just so different to anything I've heard recently, and just listen out for the ending...
