I feel 2025 is about to really kick in with a stream of Nordic Albums and Singles starting to arrive, so I'll close off 2024 releases with a haunting instrumental track from Swedish artist Le Days. I'm a little fearful about the way the world is heading right now, and the thing that intrigues me about 'Rage' is that I can interpret it in different ways, a contrast from his 2022 track 'End of Everything', which did sound like it was the end of something, if not necessarily everything. Anyway the flowing piano in 'Rage' is compelling, beautiful and mysterious, whilst the cello contribution is inevitably melancholy, as cello contributions generally are. I guess my anger with the world doesn't result in yelling and shouting, the rage is silent and sad, so I like the idea of 'Rage' being quite desolate sounding. I'll let you work out your own interpretation.
